Orange Box graphics
I just wanted to know if the graphics in the original half life 2 in Orange Box have been updated at all since it is a 3 year old game.

They've been updated. Don't be expecting Gear of War quality graphics though. Half-Life 2's graphics look a little dated, but with the amazing gameplay and story you won't even notice. Team Fortress 2 has a completely different style of graphics than most games. The graphics aren't technically too impressive, but the way they did it makes it look unique and cartoony, which is nice.

Half life 2 looks great!! TF2 looks really unique..this whole bundle is a must have without a doubt!!

in spite of looking dated, HL2 still has a better physics engine than 99% of the games out there. as far as in-game physics are concerned, it puts to shame gears, bioshock, halo 3, you name it. i think great physics is more important than great graphics. i mean, what's the point of making everything look realistic if it doesn't behave that way?

Half-Life 2 has updated graphics since the original release, most notably the lighting effects, which make it crazy cool  Just wait until you need to start using your flashlight 
And I still think the original graphics are pretty great. Besides, gameplay is awesome in this game so it really doesnt matter either way, I would still love it if it looked like HL1.
