In my case, I wanted OB on PC but mine is outdated so I bought it for 360 and now enjoy it on my 32" HDTV, much better than having crappy graphics on a 15" monitor.

I dont know why anyone would bother playing it on 360 if you have already played shooters on PC (i take it you have)
Its obvious, its better on the PC since there is a much much stronger online community.
Not just that, but the fact that live can only have you playing against 16 players is absoluelty terrible.
And people think this is Next-Gen!!
Surely they could have come up with something better.
I wouldnt waste ur money.
If a game gets relased for PC then on xbox then loads of features will be removed for xbox. where as if a game get released on 360 THEN pc, a lot of features get added. Take Gears of war for example.
They are making the Campaign twice as long and adding new multiplayer modes and the game will be half the price.
Not to mention better graphics now that people own vista (DX10).
Its the same for Orange box.
Shooters just aint for Consoles.
But whatever takes ur fancey i spose.
When it comes to playing it on a monitor or TV.
you can pickup a 20+ inch monitor (not LCD coz their shite)
for like 20p
or even find one in a skip (which i did)
And the picture quality is 50 times better.
Is there a monitor adaptor for the 360? so i can play on my monitor anyone know?

ffs, all your posts slate 360 games about being non next gen... the amount of players it can hold in an online games doesn't determin whether its next gen or not!!

Of course it does.
Next-Gen doesnt just mean pretty graphics, new features etc
It means an overhaul of everything, including what im saying.
its supposed to mean, u can do more of this, or u can have more of that.
Not. Lets lessen the amount of players u can play against online.

i for one couldnt care if i was playing against 16 players (cod4 360) or 32 (cod4 pc) really doesnt bother me in the slightest, all that matters is how you enjoy the game and whether it looks good to you!

on a better experience.

QFT.
I have the Orange Box on the PC. I wouldn't even consider getting it for the 360. Free online play where you can choose the server, more players = more mayhem in TF2, mouse support, and you don't need a massive PC to run it well.
All these games were designed on the PC. If you have the platform, then play it the way the game was supposed to be played. Don't settle for a console port.
Same with COD4. There's no way in hell I'm getting it for my 360 or PS3. PC all the way. But I already have the hardware to run it.
If you don't have a gaming PC, get the console version. If you DO have a gaming PC, don't settle for 2nd best. Use that gaming PC to it's full potential.

I tottally agree.
360 owners are missing out real bad.
The fact that its free, and finding an online game takes 100% less time is a good enough reason to get it for the pc in itself.
Its worth just saving up for a decent pc anyway.
If you think pc's are too expensive, then think about the fact that if u get a decent one (im looking at one costing £2500)
it will last you through 2 or even three sets of new consoles that they bring out and will still look better, run better, have the best online community there is etc etc
so consoles like the ps5 or xbox 9000 will still be way behind.

Haha, you had me up until that bit! LOL.
I don't think that's true at all. Architecture is changing too often, and by the time the next lot of consoles come out, PCs will be totally different to what they are now.
Put it this way: When the PS2 came out, my PC was a P3 833mhz, 512MB Ram, and a GeForce FX5200 64MB video card. And it kicked the shit out of the PS2! Did it make it to the launch of the PS3? Hell no! There were 2 whole computers replaced between the PS2 and PS3, not counting the dozens of minor upgrades inbetween.
PC gaming is more expensive. If you're on a budget, go with the console. But if you want the best money can buy, then go with PC.
I'm only recommending the PC versions of games to those who have the hardware to run these latest games.
