Stuck on "Sewers"

Well, I'm stuck. In the first game, Half Life 2, I am on a level called sewers. I am supposed to take out two snipers, one who is killing zombies on my left, and one who should be straight ahead of me. So, Barney makes his speech about being pinned down by two snipers, but there is in actuality, only one sniper, the one to my left killing zombies as I enter the floor. The other one supposedly behind Barney is nowhere to be found, which would be OK except Barney is waiting for me to kill 2 and won't open the gate until I do. I tried restarting at an earlier point in the level, but no go. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

there are 2....they are in adjacent buildings. just poke ur head out and see where they shoot u from.

They're pretty tough. I threw a grenade towards one of the windows just for shits and giggles and it actually went in the window and killed the sniper. So you just need to throw grenades in there.

You need to go upstairs to barneys level to make the last two snipers appear.

Yeah I got this done recently. I used grenades to kill both.
