Yeah, this was basically a test to see how the public takes the new concept. Im sure they will continue with an actual story of some sort now that a majority has taken a liking to the game.
You cant be unimpressed, it was a small addition used to fill up the Orange Box and test the new concept. Give them some credit. It would have been a waste if they made a 14 hour game and nobody liked the new idea; a huge waste. But now you can expect something in the future

Meh. Not so sure about that. I don't think a deep story would suit Portal's style.
As it stands Portal is my game of the year. Mario Galaxy may easily change that, but yeah. I fucking love it more than I could possibly express in words.
