Noobs and how much I hate them...

Tonight, as per my usual, I went on TF2 to play a few matches. I jumped into one and started off on the attacking side. Well, the guy who was hosting was on defense. The match started and as soon as we ran up the stairs(it was on dustbowl), we were all gunned down. The host was the heavy, spawn camping outside our area and gunning us down whenever we ran out. I finally ran out the other way and captured our first point, but not before we all died a few times. Then as I went back to the second one I died. So as I went to emerge from our base, the host still hadn't died and was still spawn camping. It took two of us to take him down. Me as a sniper and another guy as a pyro. After that we just pushed on and won the round. Then, it was our turn to defend. They managed to push through us on the first part and the first capture on the second part. Then we had an almost impenetrable defense going on the second capture point holding our ground so they couldn't get by us. As soon as the host came over(still as a heavy) and realized he couldn't get through the first time, he shut down the server. That pissed me off quite a bit... Feel free to post any noob stories you might have.

I don't like to rip on noobs because we were all there at one time, but that story you just posted, that guy is an asshole!!! I'd be pissed also.

I have to agree, newbs are bothersome sometimes, but at least with halo you can rack up sweet exp. points!!!!lol

O how I hate @s*holes like the guy you describe

The way I tend to approach this is to remember the host/persons name and if they do this by shutting down the server, go straight to their profile and give them a bad player review for 'leaving game early' (it's in one of the options on the feedback).

If everybody did this, it would make these people's reputations go sky diving and go into the minus' figures. I know some people don't care about their reputation, but a lot of people do. If the majority of people left negative player reviews for idiots like this, it would nip 90% of it in the bud.

I also do the same for players leaving the game during ranked games etc, just because they got owned, and then leave in frustration.

Another instance of player revolt is in relation to 'skywalking' or 'glitchers' I own a mic, and I am now hearing people filing complaints to microsoft when they realise that people are 'skywalking', that one is open to debate, but I am sure once the kiddy gets a ban he will think twice before glitching again

Whenever I encounter that I get a medic and pyro combo to charge uber in spawn and take the "noob" down.
A while ago I was playing in a server and we decided to do all scout vs all medic. It was rather interesting until some kid came in as pryo and killed everybody. AllTalk was on so everybody was telling him it was Scout v Medic. All he did was type a message calling us noobs or something. We all voted to ban lol.
