I want Portal! What's it like?
So, it looks great, but I've not heard any reviews about it.
Good points? Bad points? It might sway me to get the almighty Orange Box...

Portal is pretty sweet. It's super addictive and fun. There's 19 levels and apparently promises cake in the end. (I'm yet to beat it)
Portal is great and all but the best thing about The Orange Box is Team Fortress 2. This game is online and is the greatest online experience ever! Player Matches are the funniest and pretty much the only option seeing as nobody plays Ranked.

Amen. Portal isn't very time consuming either. I got to level 15/19 in about 2hours or something. However, I'm stuck on 15.

Its good, but i wouldn't buy OB just for portal. Make sure you like Half Life 2 aswell.
Why not try here?

Yeh yeh, I know - I've heard many good reports about Half Life 2 itself anyway.
And hehe, good point. I actually almost have enough points to buy it!

HL2 is about 8-10 hours i think. I rushed through it really. However, i got to chapter 4/5 on HL2 ep1 in about 2-3 hours.

Sounds good, and the youtube videos of it look very good as well.
Still casually playing GTA IV at the moment, so it could be a while before I get on to HL2
