Should I get Half Life 1 first?
I got the orange box after my birthday for portal. I want to play Half-life 2 but not sure if I should play the first one first. The only thing I know about Half-life is the main character's name is Gordon Freeman. Would it have stuff that won't make sense unless I play the first one and would the first one be available for the X-box 360? My computer probably couldn't handle it.

u cant get it for 360 but u can get it for ps2 i think, maybe original xbox.. ur computer should be able to run it, its a really old game!

i got orange box for team fortress best game ever!

You definately do not need to play Half Life 1. I have never played it and I enjoyed everything in HL2 and followed the story just fine.

Its not really necessary though, you will still know what youre doing just fine without the backstory.

360 Games I own and Hate: Crackdown (It doesnt work), Lost Planet and Lost Odessy (They are both atrociously bad games)
