Over/Underrated games
What in your opinion are the most overrated and underrated games ever?
Underrated: For me it's a choice between the Monkey Island series, Sam and Max Hit The Road or Day Of The Tentacle. It's such a shame that adventure games never hit the mainstream, they're great games with some of the best humour and puzzles ever. I wish more were made. (I'm hoping Sam and Max 2 won't be crap)
Overrated: Halo wins this pretty easily for me. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it's not amazing and certainly not revolutionary or anything like people make out. Just a decent FPS in my opinion.

overrated: Perfect Dark N64: they called this game the goldeneye killer, i was severly dissapointed with the lame ailens, and horrible plot.

Overated: Halo. Yes, it's the best game ever, but it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy overated.

I agree with you there, although its possible, it's pretty damn hard for a game to be "The Best Game EVER!" yet still overated. That means that it has been rated as better than the best game ever

Over rated: the entire GTA series. They are repetitive and only good for killing people and running from the cops, which is fun, but it's the only really fun thing in the game.
Under rated: hmmm I guess games like Freedom Fighters were really good but didnt get much credit.

Underrated: I'd have to go with Freedom Fighters as well. That game was effin' great, but it never got the attention it deserved.
Overrated: The Metal Gear Solid series. I think that this is the worst series from gaming ever.

Underrated: I'd say Beyond Good & Evil. Awesome game with great gameplay and story. If you never played it I suggest you try it out.
Overrated: PS2(just kidding. Never liked it though) I'd say Gran Turismo. It really isn't that great.At least in my opinion.
