HD-DVD outselling Blu-Ray 3-1
So I read earlier from a few websites that HD-DVD is outselling blu ray.. link.. Just wondering...what the fucks gonna happen to PS3 if HD-DVD takes off....I mean Microsoft arn't relying on HD-DVD....but if all PS3 games are on blu-ray and blu-ray fails...then won't that make games extremly expensive??? Why the fuck can't they just all have one format...stupid...Wonder how long this 'war' will be before one does a gizmondo on us.

You have to take into account that 300K+ homes just received a Blu-Ray player now as well. This war will take at LEAST 1-2 years from this point.

PS3 are idiots. The Blu-Ray is laughable and I will give it literally till July next year and the company will fold. the DVD is a MONSTER. That's like someone trying to take on the iPod. You won't win.

Good point there, But not everyone with a PS3 has a HDTV therefore not really using the main reason it's there.

Think about this too. How retarded are people in the world? I'm guessing they see Bluray and are like "what the fuck is that?" But when they see HD-DVD, they know what that is because of the DVD aspect. Better name IMO and a smart move to name it that.

blu ray is pointless right now, hd dvd seems like a much more affordable choice and a better deal for the money

It was so funny today I saw the Superman Returns release comming out or something. It said available on DVD, HD DVD, and Blu-Ray disc!! Thats crazy..

why is that, simply because it costs more money than HD-DVD?
In my location, they are advertising quite heavily for the Blu-RAY and that is what I see hooked up and being demonstrated at stores. It's funny, I don't hear much about HD-DVD in stores for some reason.
