Aaah, the memories! I was in Grade 7 or 8 when I had a Gamegear. I used to take it to school and all my mates and I would crowd around it to play games. Then the batteries would run flat, so we'd find a spare powerpoint in a classroom or in the toilets to charge it with, then play some more until it went flat again!
Heh, we once ripped one of those hand dryers off the wall to get to the powerpoint behind it!

I still have my original GameGear, as well as another! My wife and I sometimes play them, just got my PSP today, though.. can't say they're anything alike.. aside from bulk.

Also, I never had, and still don't have, rechargables for the GameGear.. takes 6 AA's each, and that's a good 2-3 hours of game play
