So anyone played the demo? I think this game will be huge.
The demo made me want it after just 2mins, the AI of the enemy is just INCREDIBLE. I know lots of stuff is always said about AI but this really is as good as they say, I've played it myself and experienced it first hand. I ran towards them and they pulled a cabinet in my way or I threw a grenade into a room and they all dived through a window. Just amazing.
Could be one of the best FPS ever, possibly better than Half-Life 2. I might upgrade my PC just to play it smoothly.

What specs do you have?
Geforce FX5200
768mb RAM
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
That's my rig. Hardly great but hey. It runs ok..laggy and on lowest settings, but still, it was great nonetheless.

I wish I had a nice computer that could run this game and Half-Life 2 flawlessly. I guess that's why I'm here on the 360 Forum. =)

I never really liked playing games on the computer except for some Ages of Empire.

Dang it, I hate the games with smart AI. I like the more easier ones where the enemies run out of their hiding places, drop their guns, and start bowing before you..That is before you start painting the ground red, if you know what I mean...
I hate most games on the computer, with the exceptions of Battlefield 2, WoW, Guild Wars, and the online, loser-ish, brower game of Runescape. Three out of four of those games are RPG's(Runescape loosely fitting into that category), so you can tell that's what I mostly play on the computer. I think that a keyboard and a mouse are really sucky gaming accessories. But, that is only my opinion, so don't pay any mind to me if you think differently.

I think for everything but FPS mouse and keyboard sucks. I only really play FPS on my PC because I always have trouble controlling people in 3rd person games. If it's possible for a console I always buy a mouse/keyboard combo for the FPS because controller suck at them basically (although apparently the Revolution one is meant to be amazing, if you read that article I posted in the revolution topic). It just takes too long to scan the screen with an anolouge stick whereas a mouse can do it 10x faster. You get more accuracy too.
The smarter the AI the better as far as I'm concerned, games where you can pull the same tricks over and over again get pretty boring. I was playing on Easy and these dudes were wrecking me, I can't imagine what normal or hard would be like. AI like this is definetly the way of the future. (Until they get so smart and start killing us  ) |
