I think they only do free trials on particular weekends. But I also heard about those codes, does every Steam account get some? If so, I can check out my account later and try to send you one.
Its an awesome game.

I prefer Counter-Strike 1.6. But that is just me. I don't like how the hitboxes in CS:S are setup. There is less recoil and it's a lot easier to get kills.

But CSS obviously has better graphics, which is a huge draw for tons of people. I still really like to play CS1.6, but CSS has an awesome atmosphere with the source engine.
If you're into pro gaming, youll probably be most satisfied with CS1.6. But if you want a game you can just play to enjoy then CSS is more than enough.

In CS1.6 and CSS? No, Mouse+Keyboard are the easiest controls for gaming. Especially in FPS's like Counter-Strike.

“Our fans always fill that end of the stadium. They are fantastic. Our away fans are the best in the country. They get behind you and make it a great atmosphere. It was an away game, but our fans made so much noise that it felt like a neutral venue.”

I am one of those that care more about gameplay than graphics. In terms of gameplay, I definitely think CS 1.6 is better.
