Help needed reviewing games

Proofread, proofread, proofread. If you're going to put something out there for others to read, they will judge you on it. Proofread once, twice, get someone else to proof it, proof it again and then post it up. You seem to be able to get across what you are saying fairly well so, it shouldn't be that big of a problem. But, when people write reviews and there are spelling/grammatical errors, it makes it so much harder to take seriously.

Lethal's right about the point system. Graphic, gameplay, sound, and lasting appeal should be touched on. If it has MP right up how good the MP is. Mention how long it takes to beat the game as that is increasingly becoming more important. Do all that, and you'll have a review that I for one would be interested in reading.

and as I said earlier Mike its only a first draft, and don't have spell check on my pc (embarassing i know) but to be honest im not sure if you read the review. I mention lasting appeal, the music, graphics and gameplay and also Plot which is very important as well. The people I write for only want small reviews but I can see that you probably want more detail.

Yeah, I read it. It was good and all but, I just think it should be broken down into numbers. Some people don't like 'em, I do. Just my opinion. No spellcheck? How is that even possible? HAHAAH!!

Apparently I don't pay attention to what goes on around here often because I'm just seeing this now...

The review was fine, my bit of construction would be to focus more on the negatives, reason being you have a lot of the positives there to a great game, but being familiar with the game {I haven't played in a year+} this game has a horrendous camera {which you touch on} not Devil May Cry bad, but really annoying none the less...But not just that, it also has the worst box/moving/stacking mechanic known to man. As great as this game is, with it's action elements and story {along with quality voice work by Halley Joe Osmond} those to thing drive me insane when playing this....Maybe my construction is more my opinion of the game.

Sorry if thats not helpful...But when I look at reviews, especially for something I would consider because of the story or type of gameplay, the negatives weight heavy on me, if I read something has a bad camera, pointless story, random battle engine, or is linier, I might avoid it. Also since the review is for a website finding the right pictures is important, or maybe a good video link for the gameplay.
