Ps3
Ive seen some images of the PS3, and i don't like the look of it.
Also, the controller looks way too big!
What do you think? Is this the offical design?

Apparently the controller is a prototype. I don't think Sony liked it that much and are rethinking it.
I like the look of the console. Nice and curvy.

I think it would be a good idea to stick to the original PS controller, using a different one would IMO lose the feel of the console.
I love the xbox, and I HOPE the 360, but i have to admit that the Playstation has the best controller. Getting rid of that would spoil the console...

They lost the rights to the originall controller design, that's whythey have had to change it!

that has to be one of the most pathetic designs for a mass market console!! if sony go ahead with that bootylicious design they are in for some criticism. people were insulting the 360 when they first saw it but i always liked it. this is just a mess. ever seen the michael jackson video for scream? those controllers are in it!

So what if they lost the rights? Can't they just add one hidden button or just change one minor thing and say that it's different? I thought that the PS2 controller was okay. The boomerang idea isn't working.

If they can't use it for legal reasons, they should at least make the original Playstation & PS2 controllers work with it so people can use there old pads, as those controllers suck!
I think even the dreamcast had better controllers than them, and im not a big fan of the dreamcast!

It could be the most comfortable controller ever. None of us know yet. Who gives a shit what it looks like if it's good.

The Dreamcast controller was actually pretty cool. When you made a shot or blocked a shot in NBA 2K1, the little memory card inside your controller would say, "SCORE!" or "REJETED!" I actually thought it was pretty cool.

I actually liked the Dreamcast. I accidentally threw mine away while I was moving to my new house 2 years ago. I thew it and a bunch of games in a dumpster in a box I thought contained only junk. I lost that and all my accessories.....lol.
As to the controller. That controller was excellent, except for the placement of the cord on the controller which made things awkward and slightly shorted the useful length of the cord.
I think the Playstation 2 controller is the best controller ever made, and I'm not so sure that Sony has lost the rights to it. I think they let third parties use the controller design as a license and they get paid some for each third party controller sold, so I highly doubt they actually sold the rights, otherwise they would be the ones paying some third party controller maker a fee every time they sold a Playstation 2, and I don't think they would have been that stupid.
