Don Kings Prizefighter: so whos go it?
I picked this up on friday, got a terrible rating but playing the game is actually quite fun, I like the career mode and the training is pretty cool, its abit like guitar hero style....
Theres quite a few boxers to choose from in multiplayer and exhibition, and the create player has a few cool things, I presume you will unlock more as you progress through the story.
The achievment system is better than FNR3, you get achievments for KO'ing certain people after a heavy night out, which sounds pretty cool, and also things like throwing 1000 uppercuts etc, moving a mile round the ring in a 12 round fight lol....
Personally I much prefer Fight Night, but it wasnt a bad buy at all, it has some nice features and overall the graphics are pretty slick.
Anyone else have it?

I was gonna get it but the bad reviews put me off. And with so many good games just released i not willing to waste money on this. If the price drops low then i might pick it up. What are the things that are bad in the game?

as long as its a step in the right direction i'll be happy. EA need some pressure puttin on them for FN:R4 so hopefully some things in this will get them thinkin how they can improve the fight night series.

i love it tbh, ok its not the polished boxing game we wanted but its fun and good to play, the controls arent as good as FN but it will sure as hell make them push in the right direction with FN4

in the career mode do you actually get to fight real fighters more often than in FN:R3?
Hows the player creation part of it? reckon there's much chance of people makin naseem etc with it?

^Are you talking about Naseem Hamid?
Man this guy was fun to watch and a awsome boxer. But when he got knocked out he just wasn't the same.

yeah he got schooled by barrera and it just fucked his head up. i was ashamed to watch the comeback documentry and the fight afterwards, he was a shadow of his formerself.
managed to buy his career box-set off ebay for £9 a couple of years ago
