GPR 4 or Prostreets?

I'd like to get a racing game, but I'm not sure which one. I came to the 360 from the PS2, and really liked the TranTurismo games. I liked the aspect in GT of starting off with a basic car and working up, but I think both games have that. I don't really play online, so this would mostly be for solo play.

Does anyone have any recomendations?

PGR 4.

Pro Street is pretty damn boring after 5-6 races of the same crap.

But it isn't any Gran Tourismo, pretty different.

The game most like Gran Turismo would be Forza 2. PGR is a arcade racing game where Gran Turisimo and Forza are simulation. Forza 2 is definatly the best racing game out there i think.

Juiced 2 is well worth a look, the new need for speed is ok once you get into it but quite limited response to steering as well as poor options for tuning styling your cars. PGR4 is just too slow and boring for me, tried to stick with it for a few hours but not all that good. Forza 2 is (as mentioned before) also a good option. I would advise find a considerate retail outlet that will let you have a go on the games before you choose. (some will most can't be bothered).
