Gear ratios for a drag car - NFS:PS
How should I set the gear ratios for a good drag car. I've never done this before, I normally stay away from "sim' type racers for this very reason. My car should be powerful enough to compete as is, but I'm still ending up almost a half second behind the firs place car every time, with a perfect start and 4 perfect shifts, with shot of N2O in there as well 
Any good suggestions on how to tune this bastard to shave a couple seconds off would be terrific

Really? No one has tuning tips for drag cars in Pro Street?

Sorry but I never manage the 'tune-up' the capabilities of the cars, especially in NFSPS...
I usually buy another car (they could have included a small tutorial in this game for such things!).

If i can remember i think i went for short 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears and longer for the rest. Its really just trial and error mate. Just try different things, and you will find it more fun, as you see the times get quicker and quicker.

Thanks guys. It's just pissing me off cuz I rape on the 1/2 mile, and then come up just short on the 1/4. I don't know shit about cars, so I prefer games where it does all of this for me

try to go shorter on 1st and 2nd, then a little longer on 3rd, the trial and error for 4th and 5th or 6th
