Short Review
so its 4 am here and i just got off vegas.
Graphics
over all the graphics have improved minorly but thats not what vegas was known for so it dont matter. any improvement in graphics from the first one is good enough.
New Guns
the new guns that i have unlocked so far are great. some of them are kinda useless like the scorpion but the M4 assault rifle is now my fav weapon next to the Famas.
Gear
From what i can see they have a few new camos and a few new helmets/hats. there may be a few new armours too.
A.C.E.S
this system for getting gear and camo is probably the best part of the entire game. it makes you proud when you shoot a guy and see in the right corner "head shot" with a cross hair beside it. this system makes every kill fun and exciting because no matter how you kill them you are always getting experience.
New HUD
this new HUD is a great addition to an already smoking game. it lets you track you progress to your next rank so you dont have to keep going back to the main menu every time to see how much more EXP you need.
New Maps
i have to say that every single one of the new maps that i have played so far i have thoroughly enjoyed as apposed to Vegas 1 with the exception of train yard which even then wasnt that bad. they really structured them 100% perfect and it shows.
New Mulitplayer Game modes
with regards to ranked matches myself and renegade were quite pissed off when we found out that there was no team sharpshooter in the ranked playlist or player matches. there is a new mode now called death match in which you have 2 respawns and the game timer is 5 min. you can how ever change the amount of respawns to unlimited and change the time limit to what ever you want in PLAYER and PLAYER only which will basically be team sharpshooter.
Campaign
i have only gotten to act 2 in the campaign but so far it has been extremely enjoyable. alot more than the first vegas i must say. definately well put together. the AI is great. they actually throw grenades at you now on a regular basis as apposed to every so often in in V1.
Terrorist Hunt
in this new TH you get your two AI squad members that are in the story mode to help you out, but only if you are by yourself. i tried working through a game on high density and medium difficulty on killhouse. it was challenging and i found the AI to be a tad bit more intuative than in V1. not much though.
Final Thoughts
Over all this game is amazing. with the exeption of there being no sharpshooter. i will be enjoying this to the utmost for months to come. game play is exellent.

Did they fix the bug in Terrorist Hunt that let the tangos spawn right behind you in an area that you had already cleared? That was a big problem in #1.

Wasn't really a bug if you think about it.. in realistic terms they could of just simply flanked you.

I love this game too. I love the A.C.E.S as well, just adds so much playing to this game. Good review

someone else said it wasnt that great and they are already playing cod4. Said its no improvement, but i havent played it so couldnt say.
All i know is im skint, cod4 maps out april 3rd, happy days. My online shooter is sorted.
