AI woes.
Has anyone else found their AI to totally fuck up almost EVERY time, you tell them to rappel/quick rope? The overall AI seems okay, but get a rappel or quick rope in front of these guys, and they seem to be all over the place, and not properly going on, or one goes on, and the other stands around like a fucking moron, this is my only complaint, on what is looking like a great game, but jeez, what the fuck. Don't they test this sort of stuff?

Yeah I have had a few hiccups like that. Once was quite funny where I got to the door and told them to open and throw a frag in, they opened it and it seemed to just freeze. So they are trying to go in the room and couldn't, in the mean time I saw this guy approaching. They finally go in as he is at the door and shoots them to pieces.
I was doubled up, but it wasn't funny as I got killed

Yeah, they do seem pretty dumb, but at least they can rush you when they can

Im supposed to pick this one up today but the AI has me a bit worried. I am not a big multiplayer fan. Do you guys think its worth a purchase just for single player?

the single played is about 9x more enjoyable than the first one. just because its not as repetative.

^ yes, the single player in the first one got OLD. I may give this a look, but I can't handle terrible AI. Although, I personally get games with mutliplayer in mind rather than single.. hrm.

The AI isn't too bad, in general, they are pretty kick ass soldiers. But, jesus, the fucking fast ropes/rappels, It's quite funny.
