oh really so its the console then and not the game? the thing is though it doesn't happen with any other game, so not sure that it could be the console?
like the guy said above, i'm not able to play story mode aswell because its sooooo slow. When theres a big gunfight theres no chance of getting through it without the thing getting as slow as to almost freeze.
I did say that it doesn't happen with MP, but on closer examination it does happen, just not as bad.
any more ideas? just bought it and kindda pissed off

Its not going to happen with all games because they are all based on different engines, I have not seen any lag but many people have so its neither the console nor your copy of the game. Its either pushing the xbox too far to its limits (doubht that tbh) or shitty coding on the devs part (more than likely)

If you are playing on an HDTV with 1080P try lowering the resolution to 1080i or 720p. That should solve the problem. I read somewhere most games are tested at 720p because most people do not have a tv that will support 1080p.

I stuck my Antec laptop cooling pad under my 360. Plugs right into the USB port and runs smoothly and quietly.
