R6V2 local co-op mode?

Does anyone know if the split screen local co-op mode is like the first one with no check points or story line, just different maps to play, or have they made it like the single lplayer mode this time? thnx...

...are you sure you didnt just play terrorist hunts on the first one?

i know there is local Co-op for R6V2 story cuz i've played it. it has checkpoints and story...

does this help?

yes it does..thank you...no the first doesn't have chechpoints or story line for co-op...you just play each map by itself but if you die without completing it you hafta start all the way back at the begining of the map...kinda sux
