G4's X-play Tears Res 5 Up.
Just watched the podcast of the Res. 5 review by X-play. They only had one thing nice to say and that was the graphics.

Complained about the horrible control scheme. Called it out dated. Adds frustration, not to the horror element. Called it overly and unnecessarily racist. Worst AI they seen, when talking about your Co-op partner.

Said not a terrible game, but gave it a 3/5 stars.

I know, they made a big point that it went over the top with it... why cause there are African headress guys? Cant believe they gave it a 3. They suck at reviewing games.

You know what the funny thing is? I agree with everything he said, it's absolutely spot-on, but the game is still very fun to play. I wouldn't let this review cloud your judgment and sway you away from getting this game. At least rent it first for those that are having second opinions.

Most of his complaints are only there when you are playing by yourself. When you are playing with a human partner, like 80% of those complaints he mentioned are gone and the game is very fun again.

My friend went into Gamestop and found a used copy for $40, I'd bought it if I was there.

Exactly. No one made a big deal in RE4 when you were killing Spanish zombies. I see no difference here.

I saw that review as well. I finally played it a bit yesterday at a friend's house. I do not mind the whole standing still while shooting, but whatever. There were more good things than just the graphics in the game.
