Didn't even know it was coming out! Have heard that the producers of Rock Band and GH are fighting over the rights for beatles (Now apple have decided to lease them)!

has anyone seen a picture of the guitar/drums? i've seen the boxes/packaging on amazon advertising wireless drums and guitarts, but only pictures of the boxes, haven't found any pictures of the new kit/guitar. TBH I haven't looked all that hard, but if someone else knows where to find some pics that'd be cool

i havent seen anything, but i cant imagine there being major alterations to the drum design...it would really piss off RB players if you needed a new set of drums.

I've read in Game Informer that they're doing discounts/trade-ins on the old gear for the new gear of RB2. Don't know all the details, and yes, they did make some minor changes to the RB2 drum kit (metal pedal instead of plastic, cymbol add-ons for more realistic play which you would play in place of the 2 lower pads so you'd still only have 4 pads to play, and velocity sensitive pads so you can do quiet or loud cymbol crashes or drum rolls, and the pads will be alot quieter than the original set as well). The guitar has also changed a bit (and I believe the drums and guitar will be wireless; not sure though). They'll also have battle of the bands on LIVE and new/more costumes, including peircings, and more clothing options. It'll also have it's own BASS world tour finally and all instruments will have solo world tours, characters are interchangeable between instruments finally. All instruments will also have their own solo's in each song now instead of just the guitar. There's alot going on with this new game and I think it's going to be sweet.

That link isnt the drumkit that comes with RB2. That is the Ion elec drumkit that you can buy to play RB2 for an addl --yes I said addl --$300! Looks cool but with cymbals that you dont need to hit if you dont want to the standard ones will do for me.
