I don't like it. I understand its a prototype but its too bulky, and to be honest if i wanted to play real drums i would by a real drum kit. I think the developers of Rock Band are getting a bit carried away with themselves and need to remember it is JUST a game.
At least with guitar hero, the modifications they're making isn't making drastic changes to the controllers and making them look like something you'd expect to see in a music shop.

The Guitar Hero set list still hasn't been confirmed yet, so how can you decide based on the set list which one you're going to buy?

Okay, i guess these drums are pretty cool. But it just wouldn't feel like a game anymore, they just resemble and electric drum kit too much.

I never thought I'd join the whole ' just play a real instrument ' thing but i feel myself edging closer to it. For me, its far to near a real drum kit.

It's bad enough having to drag the drum kit out each time you wanna play, but this one looks even less storage-friendly.

Yet anothe game that doesnt have any Godsmack on it. 
They could have their own game like Metallica will have next year but they dont even get a song  Everything they play kicks ass yet they have a bunch of bands that most people could care less about?? I dont know how they come up with these setlists. I know they have to put something in for everyone but come on I mean if Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the sky can get on here!! And then I hate when they put an awesome band on the list but the song sucks.
Oh well I guess i'll have to find out how to get or make custom songs cause I am upgrading from the PS 2 versions of both Guitar Hero and Rockband and look forward to getting them both for XBOX. But I guess I can find those answers in another thread. |
