Thumbs up REAL midi instruments in Rock Band/Guitar Hero
For those intrested in some hacking/wiring, I've found online instructions & videos (can't post links yet) on using real midi-based instruments & programming them to control & play Rock Band and Guitar hero. This includes using the Roland VPro electric drum set, a midi keyboard to play some Dragonforce guitar parts, and even the idea of using a midi guitar & programming certain notes to be certain colors! I'm looking forward to doing this with my VPro drum set when I finally get the game for myself.

On "code.google.com" I found a DIY interface called "midi360", enabling you to connect your edrum to Rockband or Guitar Hero on Xbox360.
