Beat A Set And LOSE fans?

yeah today i was playing on hard and made a setlist consisting of "ten speed (of gods blood and burial) by coheed and cambria and "maps" by the yeah yeah yeahs...i normally play on medium and just started doing hard

but how come i had 630k fans b4 the set, then completed the set with 9 stars and lost 60k fans?

can i get any answers? was the setlist not difficult enough?

did it tell you on the end screen that you lost fans, or did you notice it on the world tour city select screen? i haven't heard of this happening before.
