Anyone Experiencing Freeze/lockups with Rock Band 2 SE

Just wondering if anyone else has run into Lockup and Freezing issues with RockBand 2 Special Edition? I purchased it brand new, and have yet to be able to complete more than 1 song. I talked to Harmonix and EA and they say it's my console. And of course Microsoft says its the game.

Any advice?
