RPGs ftw, i like to sit back relax and play a good SP, and RPGs bring me the joy of happiness. Storyline is mostly good and they're longer then ne shooters or racing games plus there more to the game then to jus aim n shoot.

RPG's are an escape from reality for socially unaccepted people, or people that have problems that they need to ignore, like myself!

The games can be involving and in depth, and they have way too much spare time!

RPG's are fun because you can play it diffrent each time and make your own character. A fun rpg you should try is Mass Effect. It's a mix between RPG and Third person shooter.

Its not for everyone but it truly is a great genre of games.

i say that RPGs are reely about character development more then anything else. unlike shooters where u just pick up the same guns and weapons over and over rpgs offer a sense of accomplishment for getting farther in the game rather then simply progressing through it. They take more time then regular shooters though. it reely is all about choice and not for everyone

its all about the story. If its good it'll be immersive, just like reading a book. Some folks love em, some folks hate em, not many are indifferent =p

You've never played one before? Don't judge them then.

You're right to some extent. Games like Final Fantasy and yes pokemon have plain fighting (Pokemon is more acceptable because it works), however Final Fantasy makes up for it with it's story. Oblivion is my favorite, lots of quests and lots of things in general to do.
