I recommend downloading the demo. I did, because I haven't bought the game yet. But it's one of the reasons I went for a 360 instead of PS3. I must say after playing the demo the game looks amazing and gameplay is perfect. I almost wish my parents got me this instead of Mass Effect for christmas.

Its great, no where on the line of Mass Effect but again JapRPG vs. English is very different. I personally loved this game, one of my favorites on the 360. The battle system starts off quite simple then evolves into a very complex one...not too complex mind you Def worth getting.

im a huge rpg fan and I found eternal sonata to be extremely disappointing. I loved the art, and the combat system was refreshing and original, however the storyline was jumbled and didnt make alot of sense at times. Its also 100% linear. It got to the point I had to force myself to progress through 1 dungeon or storyline segment a day, then shut it off and play something else. Was relieved to beat it in time for lost odyssey =p I found enchanted arms and blue dragon to be far superior if you have yet to try those.

no thanks on Enchanted Arms, and I played the demo to Blue Dragon and didn't like it.

It wasn't the best, that's FFVIII for sure. But if he thinks that FFX characters are annoying and is playing Galaxy, he must find that game rediciously cheesy.

Official 360 magazine in the UK labelled it a Must Buy and rated it 8/10.
I read a few reviews on http://www.play.com, and it gets an average score of 4.5/5 and on the whole, everyone loves it.
I ordered it today, for a silly price of £17.99. A saving of £32. Bonus!
Shoukd be a nice change from Bio Shock and The Darkness anyway.

I played the demo, loved it and bought it in a heartbeat. Beat it and I actually won't mind beating it again second time through.
I loved it. It kinda gets dragged out later on, but I loved how the story unfolded itself. Kinda puzzling ending though haha.
Def. take obiwansolo's word... download the demo -> play the game -> if you like it, buy it!
