I loved Oblivion... Right until I hit a game-breaking glitch that meant I had to start over. After almost beating it and then getting sent back I just haven't been able to get back into it. The scaling levels system also kills some of it for me, just doesn't feel like I'm as powerful as I should be knowing I could have done the same quest at level 3.

i rented kingdom of fire recently and was very dissapointed  the maps and creatures are all so similer and the gameplay repetitive
although the character customization of the weapons and powers was a real highlight.
Oblivion is my faviortie out of those in the poll! still playing it even now

I own Oblivion and Mass Effect. At times, Mass effect just feels like a first person shooter. Nothing beats owning the world by slashing people to death with swords and shooting lightning out of your hands. Mass effect is good too though.

Haven't played any yet for the 360, but I'm pretty sure Oblivion will be the first RPG I play. i've heard a lot of good things about it.

I just hope they've patched the game breaking glitches. There were at least 3 I read about, and I got stuck with one on my main who had over 45 hours played and was almost done with the main story... 
Basically I was stuck on a quest that I couldn't finish or abandon, and I couldn't do anything else until I completed the quest. Unfortunately both my saves were on that quest, even though they were a ways apart...

I thought that Mass effect was terrrible the best i've played so far now is prolly infinite undiscovery
