Fallout 3
I was reading my XBOX World 360 and there was an article on the long awaited game Fallout 3. It basically said that the first 30 minutes will define the game. You start in a town built around an atomic bomb. You can fuse it to blow up but you would lose all the townsfolks quest. Is anyone else excited about the game.

yes it looks good.
if you read further you can pinpoint body parts to blow off (FINALLY!!!)
to weaken a enemies strength's you can...for say...shoot his good arm/weapon wielding arm

Well, it is being developed by Bethesda Softworks, the same people that brought us Oblivion and Morrowind...So I am expecting it to be fucking amazing.

Do you think somebody who has never played turn-based games could enjoy Fallout3? The closest Ive gotten was a few minutes on WoW. I had a little urge a few weeks ago to play the new Final Fantasy for the 360 but I heard it was bad, so I decided not to.
I think Bethesda is amazing and I have a huge amount of trust in the quality of their games, its just hard to determine what the gameplay will be like. I own the first Fallout but Ive never played it, anybody have a quick explanation on how it works? Is it like a complex Pokemon game, where you select a weapon and a place to attack and then probabilities determine the results based on your skills?
I really enjoyed the adventure/RPG aspect of Oblivion, its fun to build up characters, Im just confused on how enjoyable combat would be.

FFS! Fallout 3 is turn based action? I absolutely cannot stand turn based action...It is the reason I am yet to play any Final Fantasy game.

Thats exactly how I feel, but I really want to try to see a positive side to turn-based action so I can enjoy Bethesda's new game.
