Think i'll wait a few weeks after this game is realeased and then read what people on the forums are saying... damn GTA4 got boring very fast, was great while it lasted but i was hoping for so much more

rastaskater, i agree dude, i actually think saints row 1 was better than GTA, i played it for so much longer and enjoyed it more. the assasin missions were fun, and everything just seemed more like fun than on GTA, were it seems like a chore to do the assasin or racing missions.
Also, how come i cant edit my first post to add new material to it?

Yeah, the assasin missions, and the car jacking ones, i think, need work. Because they were very time consuming and got kind of boring.

Until you found the person or car, and then it was the best feeling in the world

I was going to answer you, but I see you already have the release date in your sig. I loved SR1 and was the main reason I picked 360 over PS3. I still own the game and play it every so often, been looking forward for this game for a long time now, more so than GTA. (which I love as well)

I agree with everyone here....Saints Row has more playability. I was really looking forward to GTA IV, and 2 weeks of playing it bored me, the dialog was annoying....One minute...."Stupid Malaka!", go round the corner, hit another taxi...."Stupid Malaka!"

The dialog is too shallow, the sound bites made it annoying, and the fact that there is such a limited amount of speech...and the damage physics are crap, it's like crushing a cardboard cutout.

SR2 will definitely be with me the day it comes out, i preordered it before it got delayed (As did GTA IV...because of the PS3, and i suspect SR2 is the same, they just don't wanna admit it)

but so far im highly impressed, first mission is absolute quality and throws you right in at the deep end haha. so far it seems a lot more enjoyable than gta, the driving is more fun, and it seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from the past gta games which werent so realistic, but really fun and kept me playing for days on end.there are 2 main island which are pretty effin big, with a few smaller islands dotted about, and a big ass airport. one cool thing is the cruise control on cars which i find is a good little tool if your finger gets tired squeezing the triggers.
