I'm really not looking forward to this game. It's a joke if you ask me. I would have been looking forward to it in the days of III and VC but this is a new generation. I have seen the trailers and it looks like a copy of SA. With terrible graphics and gameplay.

Singleplayer gameplay fully implemented for CO-OP? Insane customization? Of course i'm looking forward to it! I loved Saint's Row, i can't wait for the sequel. Although, looking at the trailers(like JoelIdiot above me said) something's wrong with the graphics. I hope it's just because it's an early build, since right now it doesn't look HALF as good as Saints Row 1 did.

lmao. So do you think gta IV was a joke too? GTA's graphics, story, and gameplay were far from " New Gen".

SR 1 came out a whole year and some odd months before GTA was even talked about being released.

In MY opinion, gta 4 was like a slap in the face to everyone who bought it.

BUT, on the other hand, saints row had some very original ideas, the game play was solid, and the graphics were great.

BUT, on the other hand, saints row had some very original ideas, the game play was solid, and the graphics were great.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you a typical SR fanboy!

Listen there, GTA IV had the best graphics that a sandxbox on this gen could have dreamed of and not even Saints Row 2 will beat that, physics were first class, they are hands down better than ragdoll. As for story, well, it may not have been a blockbuster, but it was deffinatly better than Saints Row's ever done, and stories by the way, do not have gen, as for gameplay, well that would be an opinion fight, so it would be pointless, but GTA IV did have a lot of features.

Oh and GTA IV was in production before GTA: SA was released, get it right.

So you can't tak this much crap about GTA or you obviously have never played it...

Where to start first. Yes i choose SR over GTA. Not because im a fanboy, but because, grand theft auto sucked(in my opinion). At first, it was great. I loved the physics, shooting people, flying helllllllllllllllllllllllicopters, things of that nature, but the story line got boring quick.

Also, the characters in the game were crap. Yeah i love being a poor immigrant from Poland....right...

Graphics, eh i guess i over stepped that line, they were good, but graphics don't make up for boring missions and lame storylines.

As for physics, well i liked the ragdoll better. Made for more laughs(where grand theft auto usually has many, this game kind of had the bad acting feel, were serious moments are funny).

Now, for SR.
Graphics, were not great. Just good enough. Some games try to hard on graphics, and try to make things look good, but in the process just make them look shittier than they were before. SR didn't do this. So it made it more playable.

Gameplay- The character movements were quick and responsive... As well as the vehicles(some that gta lacked, and really annoyed me. yes it was more *realistic* , but it is a video game).

Storyline- In my opinion, don't really matter, unless they are as horrible as GTA's was. This one was okay, hit and miss most of the time.

But to sum it all up. San Andreas was a much better game than both GTA IV and SR 1.

Oh yeah, and about the comment me never playing gta IV, i have a copy if you want to buy it.(its sitting collecting dust) maybe you need to play it, to see how much of a waste it really was.

Ok, I can see why you like SR better than GTA IV, but you cannot say that GTA IV's graphics, story and gameplay is not this present gen, because graphics are and so are the gameplay, as for the story, well stories don't have a gen, and GTA IV had a pretty good story, it was like an action movie. I'm not going to start bashing SR, because I think the 2nd one will be great and it will be perhaps more diverse, but yuo can't bash GTA IV like this either.

Yeah the graphics were okay. But the the story imo was bad. As well as the character voices. I dunno, little things bugged me about it. It definatley did not deserve the hype it got. I just enjoyed SR more.
