No my friend, thats the aspects that SR stolled from GTA in beginning. SR is a complete rip off GTA, which is why to some extend I am planning on getting it, because GTA got carried away with realism.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy this quite a bit more than GTA4. The tone of GTA4 didn't work for me.

+1. GTA IV did work for me, but it's a totally different game. Saints Row is pure and simple FUN, while IV is an ART game.

You know to certain extant, I think Rockstar has now made a huge gap between SR and GTA, because of GTA IV. Because now a lot of people will asume that GTA is now for realism and SR is for unrealism fun, and even if GTA will decide to comeback with fun it will be too late, it probably won't be till after another 4, 5 years before they make another GTA, because I believe if they are making pre equals like GTA III had(VC and SA) then they should have the same concept as LC from GTA IV, and I'm not sure what those DLC will be, but whatever they will be I'm assured they will be realistic like IV is.

Anyways, i just played SR for a few hours, then i started GTA IV. man oh man. It was so bad i had to stop after one mission. Its too realistic. In some ways it makes the game spectacular, but in other ways, it makes it unbearable to even play. I prefer the fast responsive character over the slow moving nikko.

But this thread should be closed. Kind of a dumbass thread, made by a dumbass member.

How did they get carried away? It's perfect. It's not overly done and it's not arcade.

Well for one thing, they left out a lot of fun stuff. Reason most GTAs previously had lots of gameplay hours and lots of GTA clones were tamed because people had lots of other fun things to do after they beat the story, as well as get rewarded for it. Especially killing 200 pigions, thats the most broing thing that GTA ever though off, not to mention how much time consuming it is and what do you get for it, some extra health?!

Don't be ignorant the game is not pefect as you think it is. Sure it might perfect in graphics, physics and as far as the glitches concern, AI and some pretty cool features, but there are still a lot of things missing, like side missions, customizations, veriety and rewards.

Which is why SR 2 will probably beat it out of it, because it offers diversity, lots of funacitvities, customizations, more vehicle veriety(airplanes) and there are less limits converning realism. This is why lots of people are hyped for SR 2.
