Yeah you maybe ok with it, but that doesn't mean everyone else is to, and I can guarantee that most are not. GTA IV left out a lot of stuff that we were looking forward to, which is why some portion of GTA fanbase might move to SR, so that they can be sattisfied with those needs...

Well this thread fails.
If you asked me a year ago to compare what I thought GTA4 would be like with Saints Row 2, I would have said "GTA4 will be an advancement on all other GTA games with hours worth of fun and perfect gameplay", and Saints Row 2 would have been "A poorer clone which tries to capture the aspects of GTA but doesn't do it as well, but is still fun to play".
Now I see that there is a huge difference. Saints Row 2 is going for unrealistic and mindless fun, while GTA chose to go for a realistic (ok so it's not 100% realistic but they made it as realistic as they could without making it suck) approach.
I'm very much looking forward to this game and honestly think I'll get more fun and play time out of it than I did out of GTA 4.

I agree. I thought the first one was lots of fun. I'm eagerly anticipating the second one.. WIth SR1 and all other GTAs, I had a lot of fun running around after, but with GTA4 as soon as I was done the story, I had no urge to play it anymore. It was great fun while it lasted but had 0 replay value as far as I'm concerned.

Correct, not much of a replay value, unless you want to see the different outcomes, small veriety and lack of diversity, you don't get rewarded for bonuses that much anymore, except for money that hardly bare any value. I think GTA IV should have kept all those previous fun actitivities and car customization, because after you beat it, it becomes dull. This DLC, better be good, but thanks to lack of good gameplay after you beat the game and the rest, and lack of rewards and diversity, I'm not that anticipated for the DLC.
This game should be something else though, it should be more diverse and fun, I don't really care for the visuals and tech specs that much this time.
