Saints Row or GTA

I have played all the grand theft auto games and I liked them a lot. I haven't ever played Saints Row and was wondering if it was worth renting or buying..

My friend said it was better than GTA in some ways and worse in others.

Your Opinions please. Thanks

GTA is better, but Saints Row is still a great game. If you enjoy that style of game I'd recommend renting it at least.

I have tried GTA and Saints row and to be honest, I would get Crackdown.

It's a much better game that either of those are to me. I like that I can jump right in and there is a HUD that makes sense in Crackdown.

Crackdown was fun, but it's really the same thing over and over. There's not a lot to do other than killing gang boss after gang boss.

Saints Row was great. We've still a while to wait till GTA IV, so if I were you I'd pick up that in the meantime.

Crackdown with an actual story would be like tetris with a story. Completely pointless.

Gta is good because of its great replayability, theres always something to do on it. saints row feels like a gta but the replayability isnt as good because i havent acctually finished the game yet but apparently once you finish you have to start over, so you cant spend all your hard earned money

Well, you aren't forced to get yourself killed, you can ignore the final cutscene. Or if you play for the first time, just accept the game's offer to save, watch the ending and load your save and have fun.
