The Godfather Game Query
Hey guys. I have a question on the godfather for X-Box 360. I have recently beaten the storyline for the Godfather on PS2, and it is a top game, but i am getting a 360 for Christmas, and the 2 games i'm getting for it are Halo 3 and The Godfather. I just want to know, do i have to go through all the storyline again to call in the hit squads? I'm mainly getting this game for 360 due to the new hit squad addition. Is there a download or something i can get from X-Box live to beat the game?
Thanks, Don_Corleone.

I'm not sure what you mean by hit squads. If you mean the new content, there are 3 or 4 additional hits and favors, a new level of weapon upgrades, 2 or 3 new jackets and a couple pairs of sunglasses. You can also upgrade your henchmen. Of course, you have to pay extra for all of that. You don't have to beat the game to play any of those, I don't think (except maybe the weapons upgrades, you'll need money). Overall, good additions, but it doesn't add that much more to the game and unless you're a huge Godfather fan, which it appears you are, it's probably not all that worth it.
There's no patch or download that'll give you a completed game though. You might be able to transfer a saved game from one 360 to another though. I couldn't say for sure but I think that's possible.

I went to Wikipedia to look for what you're talking about but I couldn't find it. You can hire a "crew," which consists of one guy, to come help you out. He runs around with you and shoots at enemies. Depending on what level you are and how much you wanna pay, these helpers can be very powerful. Also, if you're fighting the cops (or another family) in a neighborhood where you own rackets, your boys will fire on them if they come after you. You can also bribe the cops. If you pay them enough they'll help you out vs. other families in a gun fight. You don't get to control any extra guys or call for help though.

Well i re-looked on wikipedia, and it seems i miss read it. I thought you could call a hit squad from your family when you are in trouble, and they arrive to help you out, lol. But this is just as good anyway.
I'm still getting this game cause of the new features, and i don't mind doing the missions again, but just one last question, can you only hire on crew member??

Don't expect it to be vastly different from the PS2 version though. Its a pretty bad port with last-gen graphics and few new features, but its still a decent game. I would recommend you rather buy a game like COD4, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect though.
