Mass Effect or Orange Box?
Hi there,
Okay, I'm looking for some ideas for a birthday present and come up with The Orange Box and Mass Effect and I can't decide between the two... The only game out of either I have experience of is Orange Box since I already own Half Life 2 and Episode 1 - so is Orange Box really worth the £40 for Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2 alone as I'm sure I'd enjoy playing Half Life 2 and Episode 1 through again.
Apart from that, I know nothing about Mass Effect apart from what the reviews and people I know that own it say. However, it's not online which is one of my major gripes as I'm trying to get my full money's worth out of every game I buy or ask for.
So, which would you choose?

Mass effect is amazing, some of the acheivements require you to play through the game at least 3 times, and each playthrough on average takes around 20-40 hours, i'd say thats worth your money? wouldent you?
But then again its your choice im just offering my advice

I played mass effect at my friends house, and i personaly own OB, and i have to say Half Life 2 is probly one of my top ten favorite games ever.

i would say the orange box it has 99 achivements lots of playing time Portal is fun and TF2 is a great game imo

orange box is also on sale at best buy for 40 bucks i just bought it online a minute ago , so if price has ne thing to do with ur decision then its an easy one. Cant go wrong either way IMO

Mass Effect and OB is totally different games. Mass Effect is a RPG and OB is a shooter. I would say Mass Effect because it has a good game play.
