I prefer third person, mainly because a lot of FPS games give me massive headaches.

 hey, i'm hardcore, even tho the FPS games give me massive headaches....i still buy them .....i just can't play them for very long....ten minutes at a time

You sure that long hoops? ;P I think your T.V broke... isnt there like supose to be a time machine in it or something? Like that what my dad says.... I play for 5 minutes look up its been 6 hours hmmm...... anyway FPS can give people headaches only if you "spin round round like a record...." O.o'

I like both, but i like 3rd person becouse it gives you more of the "being in the game" kinda feeling.

I LOVE watching COD4 when its S&D, it looks amazing, the character models. If only you could play it in 3rd person. Socom spoiled me I spose with having the option of 1st/3rd.

SOCOM? ahh I have to say that game is maybe the only few 3rd persons I didn't like.. maybe it was the command squad thing?????????? it just frustrating ehhh and the PSP version you don't even really need aiming skills LOL :P NOOB alert alert alert ALERT AlErT oooooooooooooooooo CRAP!

I love FPS's. I don't think I've enjoyed a single third person shooter yet. I didn't like Gears, Socom 3(never played the first two though), Lost planet, and Uncharted wasn't that good to me. I'm sure I've play many other TPS, but FPS's are just so much better in my opinion.

Shorty that might be cause TPS games usually have more controles which confuses me all the time in the begining :/

cod4 would suck and halo would suck as tps' i think but gears does it just right i gues... idk how to put it but i love playing that game and they use the tps just right... another good tps/rpg is mass effect although not online it is a fun game.
