Best Offline Shooters?
Hi y'all
pretty new here, just joined up today, and i have a quick question. I love shooters, but unfortunately i cant get xbox live until at least a few months away.
I was really looking forward to COD4, but i dont really want to buy it until i have live as the single player looks very disappointing(yes?)
I have played rainbow six vegas 1 a lot, and loved it, and i am stongly thinking about RSV2.
Can you recommend any others?
Already have GOW,GRAW and MOH:Airborne (not a great fan)
thanks!

Call of duty 4 is worth getting if youre thinking about xbox live. it introduces you into how to play and the different tools you need for when you get xbox live. and it also helps you become tactical for live.

I realise im pretty screwed w/o Live atm lol, but any recommendations/ views?

If you can't get XBL for some time, I'd recommend getting something other than CoD4. You'll beat the SP in a few days, and the replay value isn't anything spectacular.

Orange Box. Hands down, if your looking for a FPS that doesnt need online play. 5 games in one. 4 are offline FPS (All the Half Life games, plus Portal which is a Puzzle FPS), and Team Fortress is online, so you can play that when you get online.

orange box. Best offline game i have on xbox. I have GOW, GRAW, R6V2, COD4 and this is the best one there is. At least 20-30 hours of game play with the 4 offline games alone (depeneding on how hooked you get to portal, best game one there. Doesnt take long to complete but the extra challenges are hard)
If you like shooter rpg's then get mass effect as that is my second fav offline game i own.
