Call of Duty 4 - customising weapons...HELP!!
Hi guys
Playing COD4 on Xbox Live. Ive got up to Seargent Level, but whenever I play online I get the same choice of standard weapons. Ive been told I can customise my wepons with my perks. Anyone tell me how to do this? Im a bit new to this game so laymans terms would be really helkpful and greatly appreciated!

Well, i think onc eyou reach rank 12 you can customize your guns. You have t unlock attachments for your guns by doing challanges.

Its Rank 4, had to do it many a time before, but now i dont have to do it again. 
Once your Rank 4 you can customise your gun, as Sam said you have to unlock attachments by getting kills and headshots.

Im on rank 14, but cant see where I can customise the weapons (Sniper, Special OPs etc etc).
Ive unlocked some things but cant figure out how to attach them

Yeah just find what perks are right for you and your gun sets and have fun playing.

Go to "Create a class" and there's all your weapons there, you should be able to work it out from there.

Go to Xbox live then go to Create a Class Then Choose a slot. Choose a Gun and so forth.

Go to Barracks, Custom Class Then edit 1-5.

Yeah...and after creating your own class, when in game on the choose a class screen, scroll down bellow the spec ops etc classes i select your own

Yep, I with ya up there finally I dont have to do it again...but since you are new to the game and everything if you are playing regular team deathmatch or free-for-all the best thing you can start out using is the M-16 just make sure you get headshots and kills with that weapon first that way you can rank up quicker by completing the challenges for that weapon...in my opinion for hardcore though use the MP5...
