Bioshock - Live...is it true?
Ive been told that yopu cannot play Bioshock on Xbox Live. Is this true?

If so, why when I put in the disc it asked me to update? What are these "updates"?

You cant play it over xbox live.

The only way to play online is on the pc version,
There is a modification in the works for it.

I thought it was MP as well because it said xbl on the box, but it just means "downloadable content"

It's just for Silver Live. Go to the marketplace, and go to BioShock and there is a free download of Plasmas and Tonics.

The "update" you see is just general stabilizing updates, the one with extra content is free but through the marketplace.
