Maybe you should just rent Proving Grounds, it'll be a good quick play, then you can play GH3 demo.

It's good isn't it? I love the five songs they let us demo. Do you know it works though? Do you get to play three songs or is it timed?

you get to play all 5 songs. i don't think it's timed... it seems like it just lets you play a limited number of times. it won't cut you off in the middle of a song. and i think it lets you play somewhere between 5-8 times, so it's not bad.

and yes, it's good. the male singer has a huge stephen tyler mouth though which is pretty disturbing up close, haha. at least he doesn't look like the douche bag singer for GH2.

Is it 5-8 plays total or 5-8 plays before you have to start it over again?

before you have to start it over again. you can play it as much as you like, you just have to go back to the dashboard and re-launch it, which is annoying because loading from the CD takes a long time.
