Two New Song Packs for GHIII!
I was surprised when I noticed the song list for Guitar Hero III did not include any Foo Fighters, but have no fear!

I will certainly be purchasing the Foo pack, but it is still up in the air on the Velvet Revolver pack. I was a big fan of STP and GnR back in the day and now that part of each are together it might be worth it.
I know the song Slither and I think it would be pretty challenging so that alone might be worth it. I am going to download the other two and give em a listen.

I'l give the Velvet Revolver pack a miss.
It so totally fucking SUCKS that GH3 isn't out till the 23rd here.  When are these hitting the marketplace?

That does suck for you guys.
Usually when Major Nelson posts something that is on the Marketplace it is there right away and since the Availability is all regions, you might be able to download it now in the UK as well, even without the game.
I am going to check for sure on my lunch break so I will post my results then.

i can't believe they're still doing rip-off 3 song packs for 500 msp. 
maybe they'll follow in GH2's footsteps, release 2 more in the next year and then stop altogether.
i mean think about it. when you buy GH3 (game not controller) you are getting over 70 songs for $60. and we can assume that at least $20 of that money is for the game itself, not just the songs. so it's like paying $40 or less for 70 songs (which is what- 60 cents a song?).
then you download some content, and suddenly you're paying over $2 for each song. WTF? that's almost a 400% price increase. it's bullshit.
i would prefer they make an add-on with 70 more songs and then pay another $60 for that, rather than be ripped off with tiny song packs.

The Foo Fighters one is pretty sweet...I really want this game. But do to the epic Mario Galaxy, its a after crimbo thang.
