Guitar Hero 2 or 3?
I've never owned a guitar hero game before, so which one is better (in terms of tracklists and overall gameplay)?

Guitar hero 2 has a few songs, and the gameplay is alright, it's pretty similar to GH3, but GH3 is more better because they have more songs and the Gameplay is better. The Battle modes can be a bit...dull but, um yeah, it's a great game. I would give it an 10/10. Great game.

Guitar Hero III is better, in my opinion, as far as graphics, gameplay and tracks go. Both are good games though.
I say, buy the Guitar Hero III bundle (because the Les Paul controller is better than the Xplorer). After you buy the bundle, buy Guitar Hero II, just the disc.

guitar hero 2 is built better.Probably thanks to harmonix. in guitar hero 3 the notes aren't always at the right places. guitar hero 3 has better songs but guitar hero two is built better.

Get Guitar Hero 3. It just looks and feels better than Guitar Hero 2. The track list of GH3 is also a lot better. Although it is a lot harder then GH2 is.

I really don't care about graphics (atleast in GH), otherwise I'd obviously go for GH3. Just the tracks and gameplay really matter to me.
so, I'm thinking of getting first GH2 (bundle), then the GH3 (bundle) later for a second controller and more songs  .

if you have live the decision is clear, GH3. being able to play on live is so much fun and will extend the replay value of the game 100x.
