i play on expert, and i got the 5-star every song in expert career achievement.
i also play expert guitar and expert drums in rock band... down to the last song or two in each career.
i pretty much have no life anymore. haha. oh well, at least i have a gf who plays with me.

well son, what you do is.
1. buy gh3
2. play it
3. become obsessed with it
4. shut yourself out from society and play it
5. shut the rest of the world out
6. play atleast 16hours a day
7. research it when you're not playing it
basically have no life.

I'm no master of GH by any means. I play on Hard pretty much all the time...I've only played a few songs on expert, but I could probably manage a few more. The game is fun if you just want to relax and hang out with friends, or if you just want a break from a real guitar...which is my excuse lol

^^ true lol I find it weird though that I can play the intro to Sweet Child of Mine very easily on real guitar, but on expert GH it's pretty difficult.

I play a pretty decent Medium in both Guitar Hero II, III and Rock Band. For some reason my fingers will absolutely not adapt to using the orange fret button. Any tips on how to improve? Should I just force myself to play on hard more often?

Thats the only way I got better...you just have to suck it up and play at a higher difficulty to play better. It doesn't take long to get used to really...just keep at it.

i play expert also and have the 5-star every song in expert career achievement.
the highest percentage i ever got on through the fire and the flames is 94%.
gh is cool, but i dont really like rock band just cuz the strum on the guitar feels weird.
