Rock Band with GH3 guitar.

Yeah I'm probably just going to stick to the GH3 guitar. Mainly because I went to my friend's house to play Rock Band and the drums were just... annoying. I don't know what it was exactly, but they just bothered me. Oh and btw Joshua I'm good with the GH3 guitar thanks for the offer though.

But rockband isn't gh3 it is a fucking horriable game if your playing by yourself and only on the guitar. Gh3's songs are only specialized for the guitar where with rockband the songs are about the whole band. So there are songs that are just horrible to play on only the guitar but are okay if friends are there.

the drums are the best part. trust me, it is worth it to get the drums.

guitar is ok, but if you're coming from GH3 you will find that rock band's guitar career is A LOT easier. there are some tricky guitar songs available as DLC, but if we're just talking about the retail game disc, solo guitar is pretty weak.

if you want to play with friends, get RB (with all the instruments). if you want to play alone, get it with drums, or at least prepare to buy a lot of DLC if you want to keep things interesting for guitar.

also you might as well buy the whole package, because if you buy the drums separately they are a colossal rip-off. if you buy the game disc and drum kit separately, you will spend more money than if you just bought the whole package with mic and guitar.

The only reason that I'm getting Rock Band is because I'm kinda tired of the GH3 tracks and I like the Rock Band tracks. I'm sure I can live with whatever is bad about the game being solo'd but I'm going to have to think it over.

Well how about renting the game, seeing how it feels with just the GH3 guitar then making your decision off of that...is that not the prudent method?

I'm probably just going to borrow it from my friend down the street and try it with just the GH3 guitar and see how it is. If I like it, I'll pick it up.

Well same deal then, I'm looking foreward to Rockband's release in England but I've already got a band so we're gonna see if we're any good as a band on this game...should be fun.

Your fine if you want the game only. My GF sings on occasion and my friend comes over to play bass but by no means do you need anyone else besides yourself.

This may sound dumb, Rockband clearly works with the GH3 guitar. But does it work with the GH2 guitar??
