I do not know why i am so interested in this game, but I am. It could be because it first caught my eye back in 2005 when they first announced it and it was so realistic looking. I am picking up my copy of the game in mid October too. Here is a vid of the game.
To me it just looks like a very relaxing game. No need to worry about how many kills you need to get, or how much time left to disable the bomb. Just enjoy the wildlife and take some pictures.

That's some pretty epic music for a Pokemon Snap game on the African plains. I think Afrika is coming out too late. It was something shown so far back that the graphics looked really great, but compared to more recent games, it doesn't look that amazing anymore. That said, Pokemon Snap was strangely addicting so this may be as well. Is there an actually story within the game or what?

This game actually looks interesting since I have a friend who's dad actually is a photographer who travels to the African plains. Like Lethal said, looks like a very relaxing game.

Newest Purchase: Alien Breed Evolution (January 17th) Future: A game around May-June to last the summer
I imported this like 6-months ago in English... It's a good game, not worth $50-60 though. I got it for $30 from Play-Asia alongside Aquanaut's Holiday (same concept as Afrika, but underwater).

I'm with this fella. After installing the theme the other day I noticed it's just not up to par anymore. The movement seems a little mechanical and the shadows are just blobs.
If they had released it back when it was first being shown it would have sold a lot, but now I'm not overly interested in it. After all, it's all about taking photos, so the graphics are supposed to be leading edge.

I will do a review of this game after I play it for a few days. Since they are updating the game with trophies, I hope they update the rest of the game a little. Either way, I am sure I will enjoy this one.....hopefully.
