Don't tell me what I am. I didnt get a PS2 until 2003. I got an xbox right after its launch. I always bought multi-platform games on my xbox, i prefered it over the ps2. I also had a 360. I liked it alot. Ps3 has just as much ram as 360, half of it is XDR which runs at a faster rate. If Gears were coded for PS3 it would use the XDR ram. I dont like sony too much. I love the PS3. It is amazing. Anyways, you are just some noob who is trying to make some bs statement about gears and 360 and why ps3 cant handle it. You have no right to generalize or characterize me.

dude, your wrong, plain and simple. i own a 360, and am getting a ps3 in january. the ps3 has 256 megs of general ram that can be used. the other ram is dedicated system memory. do your research.

256 of GP and 256 of XDR you can code to run both. Do your research.

wrong, one of them is DEDICATED SYSTEM MEMORY. to tap it is damn near impossible, and this is coming directly from developers

Bullshit. XDR is just a new type of ram. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XDR_DRAM PS3 doesnt need 256mb of dedicated system memory. Show me your source, otherwise shut up.
