Its mostly just a stabability update. Helps to fix issues with games like GTA4 and some others.

2.36 is out now. It looks like another stabability update. Its also confirmed that in-game XMB and trophey support will be inlcluded with firmware 2.40 which is set to hit our consoles in July.
